Krissy's Strong Lower Body Program: Everything you Need to Know

November 4, 2022

Introducing Strong Lower Body by Krissy Cela. If you’re wanting to see improvements in your lifts, need an extra push or want to build strength with a particular focus in the lower body then this is the program for you.

What is Strong Lower Body?

Strong Lower Body is a science backed program, promising to help you build strength, improve your lifts and increase your muscle, all with a focus on the lower body. You can now join Krissy's Strong Lower Body program on the EvolveYou app.

Why should you join Strong Lower Body?

Although a trend in recent years, a strong lower body is essential for a healthy and functioning body. Our lower body contains some of the largest muscles that we use to walk, sit, stand and carry out our day-to-day lives. What’s more is that the stronger and more well trained our lower body is, the more power we can generate and the more mobile we’ll be able to be. It’s a winner from every angle and that’s why Krissy created her Stronger Lower Body program, to ensure that you’re able to move with confidence, train with purpose, while seeing visible results in your performance and health.

What will the program look like?

An effective strength based program backed by science, Strong Lower Body uses a winning combination of compound moves and progressive overload throughout the 16 weeks to really deliver results. Created for those who are comfortable in the gym and who want to take their strength to the next level, Strong Lower Body has the perfect split to ensure muscular strength, endurance and size. With either Intermediate or Advanced to choose from, expect a 4- 5 day split, which looks like:

Day 1: Glutes & Hamstrings

Day 2: Upper Body A

Day 3: Lower Strength

Day 4: Upper Body B

Day 5: Glute Focus (Optional for intermediate)

How does Strong Lower Body differ from Strong?

Unlike Strong which has a push/pull split for upper and lower body, Strong Lower Body combines your upper body days, so that you can really zone in and focus on your lower body. There are also no full body days, allowing your body to really rest and recover from the amount of heavy compound lifting you’ll be doing, in order for you to get stronger and grow.

If it’s a lower body program, why does it include upper body?

Your body works as a unit and in order for you to have a strong and well functioning body, all your muscles need to be trained. Whilst a strong lower body helps generate power and movement, a strong upper body is vital for good posture, supporting your spine as well as supporting you to lift the heavy loads on your leg days. Remember sis, your body works as one, and you’re only as strong as your weakest link.

How long is an average session on the Strong Lower Body Program?

When it comes to timings, you’ll need 60 min+ to complete Strong Lower Body, as bear in mind this program really is for those who are regular gym-goers, needing an extra push and who are wanting to see visible improvements in their lifts.

Who's the program for?

Strong Lower Body has been developed for those who are confident and consistent in the gym and who are wanting to see improvements in their performance and lifts. Aimed at those who have been training for 2+ years, Strong Lower Body is a proven method to help you lift heavier, level up your workouts and push through any plateaus. So if you’re new to the gym, or want an effective routine to build all round strength, then Krissy’s signature Strong is the program for you.

Strong Lower Body is an effective, science backed program designed to level up your workouts and evolve the way you train. If you're looking for a performance driven plan, then time to get excited as sis you’re about to elevate your results! Let’s get it!
