HOW DOES THIS PROGRAM DIFFER FROM OTHER KRISSY AND DANYELE PROGRAMS?
Carefully created to improve your performance, Power Strong uses a unique blend of training styles to push you out of your comfort zone as you evolve into the athlete you were born to be! One of the training styles that is used to boost your performance is a type of training called Power Contrast Training. Let us explain… Power Contrast Training is a hybrid of strength and power movements that involves pairing a heavy lift with a high-velocity exercise of the same movement pattern. Think of an RDL combined with a kettlebell swing or a barbell squat and a box jump. Doing this will help you develop full body power in terms of peak force and velocity. In other words this will translate to you becoming faster, stronger and more powerful. There is also a strong focus on enhancing your core strength. This is because your core is your powerhouse - the stronger your core, the stronger you’ll be. Not only that but a strong core prevents injuries and helps to stabilise and protect your spine. From a functional performance standpoint, training the core is less about “targeting individual muscles” for aesthetic purposes and more focused on reinforcing the job your core was functionally designed to do: RESIST MOVEMENT, rather than create it. That’s why you’ll notice a lot of isometric holds, (holding a movement for a particular amount of time), like planks, hollow holds, dead bugs throughout.

THE BOTTOM LINE
If you’re looking for your next challenge, want to improve your performance and are ready and willing to be pushed out of your comfort zone, then get ready because you’re going to love Power Strong and the results that it brings. Athlete, let’s go!
